Launch the program from ribbon/Add-In tab or using command TLPolylineSmoother.

Select a lwpolyline object and press Enter. Optionally adjust the values of the user settings: Number of iterations and Intermediate polylines.

A smoother version of the original polyline will be generated. The original polyline object will not be modified in any way.

The last generated polyline is stored internally so you may skip the object selection step upon subsequent command invocations.

Settings:

Iterations: Controls the number of times the algorithms are applied, initially to the original polyline, then the resulting polyline is used as an input to the next iteration and so on.

Draw intermediate polylines: generate a polyline for each iteration.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

Currently the app only operates on lwpolyline/polyline3d objects and ignores any curved segments/widths (treats the polyline as an array of 2D/3D points).

The "closed" polyline option is also ignored.
