The MAPData Update Dimensions is a plug-in that allows users to overwrite dimension values with values from a XLSX file. You don't need any version of Microsoft Office installed. The plug-in is composed of 2 ribbon buttons, as follows:

Associate: Associates a dimension with a cell address.

1- Click on the Associate button

2- Choose the dimension

3- Enter the cell address (e.g., "A1", "Sheet2!B3").

If the dimension already has an association, you can type "C" to clear or enter a new address.

Update Dimensions: Overwrites all configured dimensions values using a XLSX file chosen by you.

1- Click on the update button

2- The open file dialog box will appear

3- Choose a XLSX file

4- A dialog box will inform you the amount of dimensions updated. Note: Only XLSX files are allowed.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
