ArcGIS Pro
Popis
ArcGIS Pro is the premier desktop geographic information system (GIS) application, essential in supporting workflows across building, transportation, and distribution systems. It enables users to effectively integrate design and spatial data, create stunning visualizations in 2D, 3D, and 4D, and conduct advanced mapping analytics. Easily share project data throughout the ArcGIS system to facilitate valuable GIS solutions and insights.
Use ArcGIS Pro to read CAD and BIM datasets from sources like Autodesk® Revit® (.rvt), Industry Foundation Classes (.ifc), Autodesk® Civil 3D® (.dwg), and Autodesk® AutoCAD® (.dwg). These datasets can be accessed from project folders or BIM Cloud Connections (3-legged authentication) to Autodesk Construction Cloud® and Autodesk® BIM360®. Moreover, use ArcGIS Pro to georeference CAD and BIM files.
Readily combine CAD and BIM data with other project information as feature classes including lidar, 3D meshes, and terrain. Improve sharing and collaboration. Publish federated project information from ArcGIS Pro to ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise, providing stakeholders with up-to-date project data across devices.
Benefits of ArcGIS Pro:
- Author, analyze, visualize, and share immersive scenes in 3D, 4D, and beyond for enhancing project insights.
- Create a single source of spatial data for all project information, including CAD and BIM. This will keep the data organized, central, and available to designers, project managers, stakeholders and across the organization.
- Bring real-world context to intensive engineering workflows. Model buildings with design surfaces containing millions of points. Perform geostatistical analysis to better inform your design team on sizing foundation members. Simulate flood conditions that incorporate both built and natural environments.
Latest CAD/BIM enhancements:
- On road and rail projects, designers use Civil 3D to regularly model corridors integrating alignments (centerline information), profiles, and cross-sections for detailed 3D visualization of roadways and railways. Enhancements in reading Civil 3D models now extends to holistic 3D views of corridors, building upon existing integrations for reading centerline information.
- Revit 2024 introduced Toposolids, a new type of 3D element designed to accurately represent the terrain across project sites. They are typically created based on site contour lines, spot elevations, or point cloud data. ArcGIS Pro 3.3 now supports Revit 2024, including Toposolids, helping GIS users better understand site conditions and incorporate building components like base slabs.
- building SMART International (bSI) maintains the Industry Foundation Classes (IFC), which is an open-exchange BIM format used internationally. Enhancements to BIM integrations in ArcGIS Pro 3.3 include broadened support for the IFC 4×3 standard allowing use of digital terrain as 3D multipatch and elevation layers.
