Upon running the command, a model-less dialog box will be presented to the user. Work can continue at any point while the dialog box is open.

Select the options for layer names on the left side of the dialog box. The pre-loaded options will be NCS layer standards version 6.0. Version 5.0 is also available, and both settings files will be located in the Documents\AMR Consulting\Standardized Layer Creator\ folder.

The right side of the dialog box allows the selection of layer properties that will be assigned to the layer on creation. Plot styles (.stb files) are supported if used by the current drawing.

The Plot Styles option is only available to drawings that use the Named Plot Styles (.stb files) for plotting. Plot styles are read from the active plot style file, which can be changed by clicking the Load Plot Styles button.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

Line types are not loaded through the app interface and will need to be loaded separately before running the command. If line types are added to the drawing while the dialog is open, it will need to be closed and reopened to reflect the new line types in the drawing.
