Scatter is an object plugin and found in the Create Geometry dropdown, in SiNi Software.
This app has been optimised for artists working with Chaos Group V-Ray and Corona 5. It works fine with other renderers but please refrain from scattering billions of polys as the memory increases with other renderers.
Scatter features both distribution maps that can be assigned to individual objects or groups. Also included is a geometry painting tool to paint in detail or extra geometry, as well as an eraser to remove geometry.
Simply select the surface you wish to scatter on, add geometry you wish to scatter, apply a distribution map or add your own. Then you can start to refine the model by adjusting transforms and painting in more geometry.
