Integrate your Herolapse system within Autodesk Construction Cloud®/ Autodesk® BIM 360® to enable the automatic upload of photos from your construction site.
General Usage Instructions
ACC/BIM 360 Admins can find the Herolapse Integration in Account Administration under the “Apps” tab. Select to add to your ACC/BIM 360 Account.
The Herolapse setup process is easy and straightforward as it can be, this is a basic step-by-step guide:
- Place your camera in the construction site: Place your camera in the desired location inside the construction site.
- Set up camera settings and capture scheduling: Use the camera’s remote access to adjust parameters such as exposure, shutter speed, and ISO to ensure that the images captured are of high quality.
- Set up the capture scheduling according to your needs, for example, every 30 minutes or every hour.
- Setup BIM 360 Account: In the backup settings, choose the “BIM360” option and log in with your credentials to connect to your account.
- Choose a directory: Once logged in, select the directory where you want the photos to be stored. This ensures that all images captured by the camera will be backed up to your BIM360 account.
- Save settings: Make sure to save your settings so that the Herolapse system will capture and backup your images according to your preferences.
Congratulations, you have now successfully set up your Herolapse system to capture and backup photos of your construction site to your BIM360 account.
