Instructions for Adding BuildCognition to an Autodesk Construction Cloud® Account:
ACC Admins can find the BuildCognition ACC Integration in Account Administration under the "Apps" tab. Select to add to your ACC Account. Your BuildCognition Integration is now active in ACC.
Follow these steps to use BuildCognition and automate your construction quality control process. This guide will walk you through signing in, setting up your integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and generating automated quality reports.
Step 1: Sign in with an email and password
Go to the BuildCognition login page and enter your registered email and password: https://app.buildcognition.com/sign-in
Once signed in, you’ll be taken to your dashboard, where you can start managing your quality control processes.
Step 2: Set up your integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
To integrate BuildCognition with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), follow these steps:
- Click on Settings in BuildCognition.
- Navigate to Integrations.
- Select Add Integration.
- From the options, choose Autodesk.
- Click on Login to Link Project.
- Sign in to your Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) account.
- After logging in, you will be asked to select a project to link.
- Select the appropriate project and click Enable Integration to complete the setup.
Once the integration is enabled, your ACC checklists will be automatically synced with BuildCognition.
To streamline your project setup and ensure all relevant data is integrated into your workflow, you can easily pull specification sections, locations, trade partners, and team members directly from your Autodesk Construction Cloud account. Follow the steps below to quickly import this information into your project settings, allowing for seamless access to essential project details.
Here's how you can do it:
- Go to Project Settings: Log in to your Autodesk Construction Cloud account, navigate to the project dashboard, and select the Settings tab to access project-specific settings.
- Go to "Specifications": Within the project settings, locate the Specifications section and click on it. This is where you'll manage and import specification documents.
- Click "Import": Once inside the Specifications section, look for an Import button (usually located at the top of the section) and click it to start the import process.
- Select Autodesk: From the list of available import options, select Autodesk. This will allow you to connect and pull data from your Autodesk account.
- Login to Select Project: If you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to log in with your Autodesk credentials. Enter your Autodesk username and password to proceed.
- Select Project: After logging in, choose the specific project from which you want to pull your specification sections. Make sure the correct project is selected.
- Preview Specifications: A preview of the specification sections from the selected project will be displayed. Review this to confirm everything looks good.
- Select Done: After reviewing the specifications, click Done to finalize the import process.
Step 3: Checklists will now be visible in your BuildCognition project.
Once the ACC integration is set up, all checklists from Autodesk Construction Cloud will automatically appear in your BuildCognition project. You can now view and manage these checklists from within the BuildCognition platform.
Step 4: Connect ACC Quality Checklists with your scope of work.
Link ACC quality checklists with the specific scopes of work in BuildCognition.
Step 5: View the automatically generated quality report.
After the checklists are completed and synced, BuildCognition will automatically generate a quality report. You can access this report directly from your dashboard. It provides an overview of completed tasks, allowing you to review project quality control status anytime.
Following these steps, you’ll successfully integrate Autodesk Construction Cloud with BuildCognition and automate your construction quality control processes.
