Surface Multiplier

Surface Multiplier

Win64, English

Civil Tools
An app that creates many surfaces from one surface using boundaries.

General Usage Instructions

The application creates many surfaces from one surface using boundaries. The surface from which other surfaces are created is called the original surface.
After typing the “surfacemultiply” command or clicking on the button in the ribbon, a dialog box will be launched.

The user will be asked to type in the name template of newly created surfaces, which consists of the name of the surface and the counter that will be added to the name.

The user is also asked to select the original surface via the surface button, and to select all boundaries via the poylines button.

The user can choose the desired surface style from the drop-down menu.

After clicking on the apply button, the application creates surfaces.

If the user has not entered all the necessary data in the dialog box after clicking on the apply button, nothing will happen.

NOTE:
The app only considers the Tin surfaces and only 2D polylines are valid for boundaries.
- If the polyline is not closed, the app will still try to make a boundary out of it.
- If in the drawing already exists a surface with the same name, a new surface will not be created.

Updates and further development of the application are planned, if you have questions, suggestions, criticisms, and commendations, please feel free to submit them via our website www.bim-advisor.com or directly to the email: civilengdev@gmail.com
