Bevel Gear Maker (Basic)
Popis
The plugin creates bevel gears various set of parameters. Basic version creates shafts from 10 to 160 degrees. Parameters and description of functions are available in Guide.pdf. Information about invoices is available in Consulting Services section (please click More to expand the section).
Attached video shows how to use the plugin and set parameters.
Execution in most cases takes less than a half of minute on i7/8GB RAM/512GB SSD computer.
Disclaimer
Plugin doesn't check interferences automatically and doesn't perform any analysis of prepared components. Please make sure that the necessary check is done before releasing this onto production. You must be aware that real dimensions of manufactured components may be different than in the design. Every material has different characteristics and its parameters may change during time depending on the kind of material, temperature and humidity of environment, workload, etc. Simplest motion analysis can be done by using joints and motion rules prepared by the plugin. Both involute and trochoid interferences can be checked by eyes but there’s better, dedicated built-in tool (TOOLS → Interference) available in Autodesk® Fusion®.
Die ist realy WoW
Not only does this add-on produce bevel gears in no time, the author provides excellent support! I was having trouble getting just the right gears, when I emailed for technical help the author went above and beyond by working from pictures I sent to help identify the correct settings to produce the gears I needed. I would not hesitate to buy again from Shwivel!
Downloaded and made bevel gears within 5min. Saved me a lot of time.
After a few click you can create the perfect bevel gears. Highly recommended
The last time that I had to make a bevel gear I had to use another CAD system because without an app like this it is impossible to draw a mathematically correct involute in Fusion 360. I also had to build a parameters table and painstakingly draw the proper tooth profiles using equation driven curves, and then import it into Fusion 360 so that I could output my g-code. It took 2 days to design a mathematically correct gear. When I saw this app I took a chance and bought it. Literally, 10 minutes later I had a set of gears that I can make in my Y-axis lathe. This is the best $20 I have spent in a long time, and I highly recommend it. A suggestion for a future update is to support diametrical pitch in addition to module. My initial design was for diametrical pitch but since this program only supports module I had to alter my design slightly.
