Description
The Display State Manager is the fastest, simplest way to switch between mechanical states in a design.
Say you are designing a transmission and need to design your parts to work in first gear, second gear, third gear, etc. With the Display State Manager, it is easy to switch between these discreet mechanical states to ensure your parts will work in each.
This program can be used in conjunction with or in place of joints, depending on your design requirements.
About This Version
Version 1.3, 1/24/2020
Major bug fix:
-Fixed an issue where parts would not always load to their correct locations
Minor changes:
-Saving and loading the draw list is no longer checked by default
-Tiny variations from being perfectly perpendicular have been removed on load
A+ developer, I needed some additional functionality added to workaround the way I produce my large assemblies & developer was quick to assist and tweak some features to suit.
Great app idea, if you need an add-in to quickly be able to change between multiple positions in your assembly (jointed or not) would highly recommend.
This application made it possible for me to switch my product development over to Fusion. My product has >25 mechanical state configurations that I need to jump between while designing, which is very common when designing mechanical systems, even ones that may be fully modeled with joints (mine can't). Nice work Paul and thanks!
