Toolbar & Shortcuts Editor allows you to easily manage and add keyboard shortcuts (hotkeys) to a large set of actions (commands) in Autodesk® Fusion®. Combined with Extra Shortcuts it can significantly speed up your workflow.
Toolbar & Shortcuts Editor also provides the ability to add commands to any toolbar panel, including a Favorites panel, which is visible regardless of which toolbar tab you select.
Features:
- Assign keyboard shortcuts to a large set of Fusion commands.
- List all currently assigned keyboard shortcut assignments.
- Create keyboard shortcuts using any keyboard key, including some mouse buttons, and override unchangeable Fusion keyboard shortcuts (Does not work in the Drawing workspace). (Forced Shortcuts)
- Assign keyboard shortcuts to Text Commands. (Custom Commands)
- Add commands to any toolbar panel.
- Easily pin and unpin commands on panels.
- Favorites panel, that is available on every tab (= always visible). One for each workspace.
Below are some of the commands to which you can assign a keyboard shortcut (many of which you cannot edit without this add-in):
- Activate component (FusionActivateLocalCompCmd)
- Isolate, isolate all & unisolate (IsolateCmd, UnisolateCmd, UnisolateAllCmd)
- Pan cursor (PanCommand)
- Paste New (A component must be selected) (FusionPasteNewCommand)
- Set and reset orbit center (SetOrbitCenterCommand, ResetOrbitCenterCommand)
- Show All Bodies/Components (for selected in Browser) (ShowAllBodiesCmd, ShowAllComponentsCmd)
- Zoom Window (drag a rectangle) (ZoomWindowViewCmd)
- Previous/Next Workspace (CycleWorkspacesBackwardCommand, CycleWorkspacesForwardCommand)
Not all menu actions (e.g. "Home view") are represented as commands in Fusion. As such, they don't show up in Toolbar & Shortcuts Editor. The add-in Extra Shortcuts can be used to expand the set of available commands.

Note: The add-in lists all commands that it can find in Fusion. Not all commands are meant to be executed directly and might not do anything or, in the worst case, make Fusion crash. It is recommended that you save your current work before experimenting with new commands.

Toolbar & Shortcuts Editor is provided as a trial, making it possible for you to evaluate the add-in. The trial version can be upgraded to a full license by purchasing a license key using the License wizard in the add-in or by visiting the Axalea Store.
Trial limitations:
- Only one added toolbar/menu item will be saved when exiting Fusion.
- It's only possible to set keyboard shortcuts 3 times per session.
- Forced shortcuts will not be saved when exiting Fusion.

This apps saves me hundreds of clicks a day and has massively reduced the need to move my mouse across the screen and back especially for commands in right click menus that I haven't been able to assign shortcuts to before. With the Axalea Extra Shortcuts app I can move the timeline from my keyboard finally. I can activate and isolate components so easily now. Also there's a full dashboard for all the shortcuts which you can filter to see which keys are free, or find a shortcut that you've forgotten.
The forced shortcuts are great for commands that the Autodesk code wouldn't store in the cloud, for instance if you need mouse click and modifier combinations. There is a readily available file that can be transfered to another computer if you use more than one. Maybe not for casual users but not difficult and only necessary if you use more than one computer.
