Opis
If you find this useful, consider buying me a coffee (buymeacoffee.com/temba)
This add-in plots surfaces specified by equations of the form z = f(x,y). This is done by sketching slices of the graph at various x values and then lofting them together.
In addition to plotting surfaces, this add-in can also create a solid body with a flat base whose surface takes the form specified.

Wersja 1.3.0, 04.09.2024
Can now set resolution by specifying either an interval length or number of intervals
Fixed a few small bugs
It is easy to use and works as expected, however, it can make Fusion to crash easily with non-default parameters, e.g. by increasing the resolution. (With the default interval of 10 the surface will be too patchy..😿)
The add-on does precisely what it promises. It's really easy to use and functional.
Thanks for doing this! I love it!
You're most welcome
Can this take equations generated by K3DSurf?
I don't know much about K3DSurf, but this can only handle equations of the form z = f(x, y). If you can convert your equation to that form then it should work.
I will be using it in teaching.
That's great! What do you teach?
Works great, thank you.
Glad to hear it! Let me know if you run into any issues.
