Mega Make Components

Open up your part file that contains the solid bodies that you want to convert into components.
Use the "Shapes to Excel" command to create a spreadsheet containing all of the solid bodies. Open up the spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel and give the solids new names as well as specify iProperties that you want to add.
Don't forget to add your custom user property names in the property row and your values for each component. Save your spreadsheet data and use the "Mega Make Component" command to split it up into separate components.

Using the spreadsheet from the previous command, create a brand new assembly containing all of the components in the spreadsheet. Also adds the iProperty values that are specified in the spreadsheet. |
Installation/Uninstallation
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.
You can unload the plugin without uninstalling it by unchecking the "Loaded/Unloaded" checkbox associated with the plugin in the Autodesk® Inventor® Add-In Manager. You may have to restart Inventor to completely unload the application.
To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, you can uninstall it from 'Control Panel/Programs and Features' (Windows 7/8.1/10/11), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.
