Assembly Copier allows you to copy selected assemblies, rename files, conveniently adjust the size of fields on the component card (iProperties), and enable automatic numbering.

General Usage Instructions

Once installed, the Assembly Copier extension can be opened either from the Autodesk® Inventor® Quick Access Toolbar or by clicking the Assembly Copier icon on your desktop.

Now it is time to start using Assembly Copier:

  1. Open the assembly to be copied.
  2. Create sets of components.
  3. Select a new location for copying, which must be the same as the workspace path.
  4. Use renaming schemes.
  5. Set the status of renaming.
  6. Select copying task options.

Installation/Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store has already installed the app/plug-in. Alternatively, you can install the app by simply double-clicking the executable file.

To uninstall the program, use the Windows "Programs and Features" Control Panel.
