Workspace will help Inventor users access their favorite Folders/Files quickly.

Accessing and viewing your models in Inventor quickly can save time and increase productivity.

 How it works

• Workspace can be started directly from an Assembly, Part, or Presentation Document in Inventor.
• To show Workspace, Click View Tab -> Windows -> User Interface -> Click and activate Workspace OR from Browser click the Plus(+) Icon and select Workspace.
• By default, Workspace loads the files on the default project Workspace Folder.

The Add-in works for Inventor releases since 2020.
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plugin will start installing the app/plugin. Or, double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

You can unload the plugin without uninstalling it by unchecking the “Loaded/Unloaded” checkbox associated with the plugin in the Inventor Add-In Manager. You may have to restart Inventor to unload the application completely.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Add-in if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the “Uninstall” button. OR you can uninstall it from ‘Control Panel/Programs and Features’ (Windows 7/10/11), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.

Workspace does not appear in Inventor either under View -> Windows ribbon or when we expand the Browse button.

Solution:

Please restart Inventor and it should show up. As the add-in loads when the inventor starts.

Please follow the below steps (only the first time)

• For the first time, the add-in is Blocked and should be unblocked by the Add-in Manager.
• It will ask the user to add the license/Trial.
• After the license is selected, Inventor should be restarted again.
