The C3DT Flatten App offers an intuitive interface that makes working with Frame Generator designs easier and more consistent. Whether you're flattening entire assemblies or excluding specific parts, this app provides seamless options for assembly management.

Once an assembly file is active, the C3DT Tab appears with three options:

1. Flatten Assy All
   This option flattens the entire assembly into a new one, grounding all parts and removing all constraints. From there, you can continue working with the newly structured assembly.
2. Flatten Assy Exclude
   If you only want to exclude specific parts or assemblies from the flattening process, this option allows you to select those components. The selected parts remain intact while all others are grounded and unlinked.
3. Flatten Assy Frame
   This option focuses only on Frame Generator parts, flattening them into a new assembly while leaving the other parts and assemblies untouched.

Getting Started with the C3DT Flatten App

Install the Software

Simply install the C3DT Flatten App, and the C3DT Tab will appear within the assembly environment of Autodesk® Inventor®.

30-Day Free Trial

Enjoy a 30-day free trial to explore all the app's powerful features. After the trial, click the "Activate" button and follow the instructions to unlock the full version.

Create New Assemblies

Once activated, click your preferred option, and the C3DT Flatten App will instantly create a new assembly, placing all models at the top level and grounding them. All constraints will be removed, giving you a clean slate for further work.

Uninstallation

If needed, uninstall the app easily via Windows "Programs and Features" in the Control Panel.
