Introduction
Automatic Drawing Creator is a very useful tool for Autodesk® Inventor® users who are looking to create 2D drawings quickly and efficiently. It would be a great timesaver for those who need to create many drawings regularly.
Background
2D drawings play a crucial role in documenting the design and adding important information to the product. They provide a clear and accurate representation of the product’s geometry, dimensions, and other critical details. This information is essential for manufacturing, assembly, and quality control processes. Moreover, 2D drawings serve as a communication tool between different stakeholders involved in the product development cycle, including designers, engineers, manufacturers, and customers.
Creating 2D drawings in Inventor can be time-consuming, taking away valuable time from other projects and design improvements.

I hope that a new function can be added in the subsequent versions, which detects whether there are already engineering drawings. For parts/components that already have engineering drawings, no new drawings will be generated. Currently, when using it, due to the previously generated engineering drawings, clicking ADC after adding new parts to the assembly will result in the generation of many duplicate engineering drawings, which is not conducive to improving efficiency.
Thank you for your nice Feedback and the suggestion. A similar function already exists in ADC (Create drawings for selected Components) from Top Assembly level. But yeah, I will activate this function in other workflows too to make it much easier. Thanks again for your suggestion and I'll add it in the Next version of ADC (V25.1.0). Thanks for your feedback! Yeah, we can make it available for 2020, but some of the functions won't work as they are not supported in Inventor 2020.
