This comprehensive catalog is ready to use in your Steam project. It is comprised of common Valves, Instruments, etc. If you’re creating a new project or just integrating it as a part of the whole project, this catalog will be a great starter.
The catalog include more than 450 items adapt from Spirax Sarco, Samson parts.
- All the parts are parametric Python parts so you can adapt to your standard if needed, by default it adapt using Spirax Sarco, Samson datasheet.
- Valve parameters and preview pictures are shown in the Properties, so you can quickly check dimensions.
- Metric and Imperial versions already included.
Isometrics for all the parts are already set and ready to be generated.
Pipe and valve connectors are included in the catalog, feel free to adapt to your own standard.

I have been looking for a long time for an application with enough and detailed Python parts, highly focused on Steam. The developer also helped me a lot to get used to the app and be able to fully use it in my Steam project. Worth the price!

After using this pack, I have pros and cons
Pros,
1. The valve looks pretty good.
2. Easy to change the valve class.
3. Easy to modify the end connections.
Cons,
1. Both packs (ASME Valves Python Content Pack and Steam Python Content Pack) do not allow for changing or rotating the Butterfly valve gearbox size or wheel offset location and size.
2. Globe valve shapes in larger sizes are not displayed correctly.
3. The unibody actuator ball valve is missing.
4. The drain port is missing from the Y-type strainer (3 ports).
5. The actuator for the globe valve is missing (although it is included in the package).
6. Expansion Joint is missing.
Hi Karthick, Thank you very much for your feedback. This is the first release so your feedback is really important for us to improve the product. For some of your cons points: 1. Adding that parameter for butterfly valve make sense, will add it in next release. Also worth to note that all other valve have parameter to rotate the handle. 2. We used to use global valve upto DN600 let me know which parameter you set for the valve so I can check if all valid. 3. I’m not sure which valve you’re talk about, if possible please send me the datasheet. If it normally used in Steam industry I will add. 4. The drain port usually closed and normally don’t show in drawing as people can misunderstanding that it was disconnect. Let me know which specific reason why you need it as an open port? 5. I’m sure all the valve in screenshot picture above can be used, can you send me more detail picture? 6. Yes, the content is focus on most common item in Steam (Spirax Sarco, Samson) so please only expect all the item in screenshoot above. Thank you. Quan.
