Engineering On Demand
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
When you install Engineering On Demand, you will have a new button on your “Add-Ins” tab labeled Engineering On Demand, click and a form will pop up.
- Before you begin using the plugin, all Rooms should be placed and named with limited use of Room Separation Lines.
- Check and correct the information in the 'Ripple-Room Engineering Data Schedule' and 'Project Data' and 'Constructions' tabs in this form.
- Then hit the 'Design HVAC System and Import Placement Blocks' button and move the placement blocks where they work for your project.
- As you make changes to the project, you can rerun the tool to get updates to the HVAC design
If you are early in the project and don't have windows placed keep the 'Quick Design' option checked, you may disregard the 'Constructions' tab when Quick Design is checked.
Ripple will give you quicker, but less accurate, feedback on HVAC space requirements. If windows are in the model, you can uncheck 'Quick Design' to get more accurate space requirements."
