Clashes manager
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
The plugin requires abilities in two programs - Autodesk® Navisworks® and Autodesk® Revit® (but work can be separated). Firstly, it is necessary to check for collisions in Navisworks. To do it you should the .nwc formal from your Revit model (You can use the plugin Eneca Share model or use Navisworks NWC export utility) and do a collision check in Navisworks, obtaining the necessary report in .xml format. More information on the process of collision checking and getting the .xml file can be seen in the video.
Next, you will need to open the Revit model, launch the Clashes manager and, by clicking on the "Browse" button, find and choose the report file. As a result, the table will contain all the information from the report: number of collisions, collision name, level, collision status, and comments. When selecting a collision, at the bottom of the plugin interface you will see information about the intersecting elements, as well as a picture of the collision. When you click the magnifying glass button, a separate 3D view with intersecting elements will be created.
For collaborative work after the work with a collision is done, the specialist should change the collision status, write a comment about the intersection, and close the plugin. After that, the information in the .xml file will be overwritten and the specialist from another department can run the Clashes manager in his model, open the .xml report and see the status of collisions. Further work is also carried out by exchange of comments until all collisions will be eliminated.
