Enscape™ – The only real-time visualization plugin that is 100% integrated into Autodesk® Revit®.

General Usage Instructions

1. Install Enscape

Use the Enscape setup tool to integrate Enscape into your Revit installation. When finished, you should see Enscape as a new “Ribbon”-menu bar in Revit. Just click the orange start button and let the show begin.

2. Load your Revit model

Open your Revit model and ensure, that you have a valid 3D view. The more material settings and objects you have in your scene, the better it may look.

3. Start Enscape

Press the start button. You can walk using the WASD keys with your left hand while looking around with your mouse. Have a look at the on-screen-hints. If you update your Revit-model, Enscape updates instantly.

4. Tweak materials and lights

You might have noticed that it’s a bit dark or colorless. No problem, just place light sources inside Revit to enhance your walkthrough. You can greatly tune the material appearance by changing the glossiness.

5. Liven up scenes with 3D asset collection

Convey the right esthetic to an architectural project by placing and adjusting assets and materials with ease.

6. Export into a variety of outputs

Enscape has full VR support, multiple panoramas export, web standalone and desktop standalone app, panorama tour, and video paths to help clients understand the full scale of their projects through an immersive environment.

Installation/Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Remove" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

Additional Information

In order to run Enscape the following specifications are compulsory:
  • Graphics card:
    • NVIDIA graphics chip (Vulkan 1.1 compatible, GeForce GTX 900 series / Quadro M series or newer) with the latest driver
    • AMD graphics chip (Vulkan 1.1 compatible, Radeon RX 400 series/equivalent Radeon Pro series or newer) with the latest driver
  • GB Video-RAM (6 GB recommended, min. 8 GB for VR)
