This tool requires its users to sign in to their Autodesk® Accounts and subscribe to either its monthly subscription service or its yearly one.

When a model is first opened, the configuration window will be shown for the user to configure the tool for that model. This is a one time only phenomenon and the configuration window can, later on, be accessed through the Configure pushbutton under the Bird Tools ribbon tab. Users can use the configuration windows to manage each model, import and export configuration files.

The tool allows the user to configure the integration with several supported platforms. A separate guide for each platform can be accessed through dedicated pushbuttons in the Configuration Window.

Whenever a workshared Autodesk® Revit® model is opened, and if the tool is configured to do so, this tool will start automatically and will be shown as a notification icon on the system tray. Its main form can be shown by a simple mouse click on its system tray icon. System tray notfications can be turned On/Off by the users.

The user can then read the most recent instant messages, or send an instant message which will be shown on the project's conversation (each project has its own conversation that is automatically created/loaded whenever the cloud-based project is activated in Revit)

All the collaboration activities will instantly and automatically show as pop-up notifications for every active team member (check screenshots). They can also be accessed through the “Conversation Members” tab of the main form of this app and they are also added to the project’s conversation.

In case this tool is closed by mistake, the user can start it again by pressing its pushbutton which can be found under the "Bird Tools" ribbon tab.

Notes:

       - This tool needs to be installed on all of a team's systems so that all the members' activities are properly monitored. An active user that hasn't installed this tool will not be shown as an active member and his activity will not be monitored.
