Tag Master
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
Below is the basic workflow for every function in the app.
As you use the app's functions, instructions are displayed on the screen to guide you.
* (DS) "Dynamic Selection" means that the function can either be executed before or after you select elements to modify.
Tag
Create - Takes care of positioning and leader adjustment while you tag.
- Configure settings, run the function, set the start position, pick the direction in which the Vertical Offset will move, and start tagging.
Position (DS) - Strategically arranges selected tags and positions them using specified offsets. "Auto" uses the top-most tag from your selection, which is particularly useful for quick reorganizing.
- Configure settings, run the function, and select the tags to move.
Align (DS) - Top-Most, Bottom-Most, Left-Most, Right-Most, Vertical and Horizontal.
- Select tags to align, and run the function.
Leader
Angle Leader (DS) - Angle any Tag leader.
- Configure the angle, select the leaders, and run the function.
Offset Elbows (DS) - Horizontally offsets the leader elbows of the tags that have been selected. Especially helpful for organizing leaders that point to parallel runs of ducts, pipes, and cable trays.
- Configure the offset, select the leaders, run the function, select the starting point, and then select the direction in which to offset (Left/Right).
Comment
Quick Copy (DS) - The comment from the first selection will be copied and can be pasted onto any subsequently selected element. The comment will also be set as an Active Comment, which makes it easier to reuse or add to your Stored Comments.
- Run the function, select the tag or element that contains the comment, and then select the tag or element to which you want to paste the copied comment.
Set - Pastes the Active Comment to any subsequently selected element.
- Run the function, and select the tag or element to which you want to paste the active comment.
Add - You can add a comment to the Stored Comments, which you can conveniently access later.
- Run the function, fill in the two fields, and click "Confirm".
Edit - Edit any stored comment.
- Select a comment to Edit, run the function, make changes, and click "Confirm".
Remove - Removes stored comments. This is non-reversible.
- Select one or multiple comments and run the function.
Export - Exports any stored comments to a .txt file, which you can share with your team, or simply store away.
- Run the function, select a location to save the .txt file in, name the file, and click "Save".
Import - Imports comments from a .txt file, and adds them to the Stored Comments.
- Run the function, locate the .txt file with the comments you want to import, and then click "Open".
* You can add comments to the .txt file directly, then import it to Tag Master. The Code can be any combination of letters or numbers and is used solely for ordering.
