Sourcery Sync App Workflow
- Install the Sourcery Sync App - Download and install the Sourcery Sync app from the Revit App Store.
Export Data from Sourcery
- Navigate to your Sourcery project.
- Go to the vertical toolbar on the left.
- Choose the Revit option and hit Export.
- Save the exported file to your desired location.
Import Data into Revit
- Open your Revit project.
- Launch the Sourcery Sync app within Revit.
- Use the import function in Sourcery Sync to load the previously saved file.
Map Data into Your Model
- Follow the prompts in Sourcery Sync to map the imported data into your Revit model.
- Create synchronization maps by selecting which luminaire types are mapped to which families and subtypes.
Save Synchronization Map
- Save the synchronization map for future use in other projects.
Sync Data
- Hit the Sync button to synchronize the data from Sourcery with your Revit model.
- Review Sync Report.
Review the detailed sync report provided by Sourcery Sync to check the success of the synchronization process.
Commands
Installation/Uninstallation
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. Make sure that the Autodesk product is completely closed when running the installer.
To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
