FR Toolkit
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
The FR Toolkit provides users with enhanced control over their Autodesk® Revit® files, featuring four primary functions:
Create Detached Model: This functionality enables users to efficiently generate a detached model from the existing file. In instances where the process of closing Revit and reopening it as a detached model proves time-consuming and cumbersome, this tool allows users to detach the current file from the central model with a single button press. Here's how you can use it:
- Click the "Generate Detached Model" button.
- Save your current file in the chosen directory.
- You now have a detached model.
Check Model In-Place: This feature automatically identifies all model-in-place elements within the Revit file. Particularly useful in scenarios where clients prefer to exclude model-in-place elements or when managing these elements becomes challenging, the tool detects all such elements in the file. Subsequently, it opens a new 3D view, presenting the user exclusively with the located model in-place elements. Here's how you can use it:
Click the "Model In-Place" button.
If there are no Model In-Place elements, a warning message will appear.
Otherwise, a new 3D view will display only the mode in-place elements.
Manage them as needed.
Check Generic Model: This button automates the detection of all Generic Models in the Revit file. Addressing situations where clients prefer to avoid generic models or where managing a multitude of elements within the generic model category becomes intricate, the tool identifies all Generic Models in the file. It then opens a new 3D view, displaying only the identified elements to the user. Here's how you can use it:
- Click the "Generic Model" button.
- If there are no Generic Models, a warning message will appear.
- Otherwise, a new 3D view will display only the generic model elements.
- Manage them as needed.
Set Phases: The Set Phases feature empowers users to modify the phases of multiple elements concurrently. Users can select elements for phase adjustment and indicate preferred phases for creation and demolition. Subsequently, users can review and identify any selected sets that are in the wrong phase, allowing for prompt correction. To do that;
- Click the "Set Phases" button.
- A new window will appear, prompting you to select elements and their desired phases.
- Select elements, and click "Finish."
- Review the selected elements and click "Check" to identify elements in the wrong phase.
- Click "Fix" to arrange those elements according to the specified rules.
