Make Walls
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
Steps to run the plugin:
1. The plugin works on lines that are in the model. Therefore, if you are using a linked CAD plan, you need to explode the plan so that model lines are made in the model for the plugin to work.
2. Set the plugin settings. There are two settings. The first setting sets the expected maximum thickness of the wall that you expect to make. This plugin makes walls from parallel lines but it is often the case that CAD lines are not perfectly parallel. To overcome this you can increase the tolerance value available in the second setting and then start using the plugin.
Typical usage scenarios:
1. Converting a double line CAD plan to Revit, by tracing over the CAD plans to make walls.
2. Preparing a conceptual 3D in Revit from a pair of two parallel lines in Revit. With this, you can create walls multiple times until your concept plan is final.
