Press the Coordinate Locator button, located in the CTI ribbon, Coordinate Locator ribbon panel.

Select the coordinates system in which you want to reference the desired coordinate: Survey Point, Project Base Point or Internal Origin. 

In the Element Combo box (deployable menu), select the desired family type that you want to use as a marker.

Input the values X, Y and Z you need, if you want to go back to the origin (0,0,0) press the “Take to center” button. If your input cannot be processed as a real number, you will hear a sound and the text box will be marked red.

Choose in which unit system you want to work, metric (meters) or imperial (decimal feet). 

Press the “Proceed” button.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

Currently, available in English, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean and Arabic.

Family of default marker included in the package.

Some of the family types do not have an image, so the combo box will only show the name.

In large files, there may be several families that can be used as locators since they comply with the requirement relative to its location type. Some of them may not be adequate as markers, for example, vehicles, piping fittings, etc. The application search for all these types to show them as options in the Element Combobox before the main window is launched, so this process may take up to 5 seconds.
