This app for Autodesk® Revit® extends the capabilities of planBIM and helps users with Scope Definition, Knowledge Documentation, Files Management, Content Standardization, Tracking & Coordination.

General Usage Instructions

Step 1: Click on the planBIM Tab in Revit.

Step 2: Log in to your planBIM account using your email ID and password. planBIM Revit plugin requires a password. Thus, if you have been using the social login credentials for the web app, make sure that you create a password separately through the web app. You can do that by logging in to https://app.planbim.io and clicking your profile picture > Edit Profile > Account & Security. Enter your new password and click on SAVE.

Step 3: You'd also need to create a project or be a part of one in planBIM and then log in within the Revit plugin as it retrieves data from https://app.planbim.io. Please note that if you have a Free workspace, then you'll see an option to upgrade as this functionality is not available in that plan.

Step 4: Once you have logged in, you will see a list of your projects under the "Projects" screen. You can select any on them and you'll be prompted to whether you'd like to link your current Revit file to that planBIM project.

Step 5: Now you can access the Scoper and Content modules.

	Sign Out	Sign out from the planBIM plugin.
	Libraries	View the libraries that you have access to in this workspace.
	Library Home	Get a quick overview of the library and its standards from here.

Installation/Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

Known Issues

Currently Social login is not supported in the Revit plugin.
