After installing SheetEz add-in, it will be added to ribbon tab with the name Add-in and push-button name SheetEz. When clicking on push button the main form of the add-in will happen.

A) Make: This function will make a new sheet with sheet name and sheet number which can be input directly. You can also load an Excel file. The sheet name and sheet number will fill in the table.

B) Rename: This button will rename your sheets. The review window on the right side will show the preview. There are more options to rename sheets as shown in the picture below.

C) Transfer: This will transfer your viewport from one or more sheets to one or more destination sheets. There are 3 options: Copy, Move and Delete all viewports.

The transfer options:

•Copy views: Copy one or more views from one or more sheets to one or more destination sheets.

•Move views: Move one or more views from one or more sheets to one or more

•Remove views: This will remove all viewports on sheets.

D) Duplicate

1) How to select sheet and its viewport for duplicating?

You can choose which sheet or viewport that needs to be duplicated from the List of Sheet

**Please check both sheet and it viewport**

2) Sheet option Section

-Select Title Block: Shows the list of title blocks of the project which the user can select. If the user chooses the Original option, each duplicated sheet will have the same title block as each original sheet.

-Sheet File: The number and name of the duplicated sheet can be renamed with an Excel file. The user just checks on the checkbox then clicks the Browser button to load the Excel file.

**The sheet number and sheet name in Excel should place at A1 column and A2 column at Sheet1 as shown in the picture below**

-Prefix, suffix: Text in front of and text behind the sheet number (sheet name)

Ex:  100 - Sheet01    => prefix100suffix - Sheet01 (for sheet number)

       100 - Sheet01    => 100 - prefixSheet01suffix (for sheet name)

**This option will be disabled if the option to select Excel file to rename is checked **

•With Views / Without Views: Duplicate viewports or not.

3)    View option Section  

-Duplicate Option: There are 3 three types: Duplicate, With Detailing, As a Dependent

**If the viewports cannot duplicate with detailing, the add-in will duplicate the viewport with Duplicate type as default option**

-Prefix, suffix: Text in front of and text behind View Name (Title Name)

Ex:  View Name    => prefixView Namesuffix

       Title Name    => prefixTitle Namesuffix

 4) Misc. Section: Copy Legend (Schedule): There are 3 options for this: Make, Instance, and Duplicate. If the user selects to make the instance, the legend or schedule just makes the instance and places it on a duplicated sheet, and they will be duplicated if the user chooses duplicate.

**If the list of sheets needs to be duplicated, and they have some legends or schedules where they have the same parent schedule or parent legend, this add-in will just duplicate once for that parent legend or parent schedule.**

-Copy outside elements: This option will copy all the elements outside of the sheet. Some users want to make some items outside of sheet, so this option is very important for that user’s purpose. What kind of element outside will be duplicated? The add-in will copy line, detail item, detail component, detail group, text, symbol, and picture etc.

 **The add-in will not copy revision cloud., However, the add-in can do it but revision cloud has an effect on revision on the sheet, so I decide not to copy revision cloud**

5) Which elements will be duplicated?: The purpose of this add-in is duplicating sheets with 100%. The list below shows which elements can be duplicated.

-Sheet: All the parameters including text, number, visible, type parameter will be duplicated

All the parameters as red marks will be duplicated including Guide Grid type and Revision on a sheet.

-Title Block: All the parameters including text, number, visible, type parameter will be duplicated.

All the parameters as red marks will be duplicated including Key Plan visible and Scale Bar Type.

-View: The views will be duplicated including position, rotation, and viewport type. 

E) Revision: This will control the revision of your project. You can add and delete revision and check which revisions should be applied to a sheet. 

-Add: This will add revision by select revision from the right window. You can add one or more revisions to one or more sheets.

-Delete: This will delete revision for your sheets. If the revision is submitted, it cannot be deleted.

- Current: This will show the current revision of the sheet which you select on the right window.

-From sheet: This will checks what sheet contains revisions that you selected in the right window.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

F) Cloud: The cloud can be controlled by this function. You can check which cloud should be added to the view or sheet. You can also check if it is visible or invisible. Then you can open the view containing that cloud or delete that cloud as well.

-Select: You will select cloud by checking on them. Then you can modify parameters by using the properties pallet.

-Delete: This will delete clouds, you can delete one or more clouds.

-Open View: This button will allow you to open views containing the cloud that you selected.

-Show/Hide: You can hide or show clouds by clicking on this button.

-Refresh: Refresh the window after your changes in your Autodesk® Revit® model.

III) Limits

At present my add-in will duplicate 99% of elements from the original sheet. So, what about the remaining 1%? The answer is viewport title location. This item, after duplicating, is not the same as the original. The user can get the request code directly by clicking on License --- Activate.

The add-in needs to have an active license. The customer has 30 days to use after the purchase until the active window will appear prompting the customer to input the license code.
