Attach Toposorface is a tool that helps you attach your toposurface to faces or edges by adding extra toposurface points. In the small window that pops up when clicking the button, provide the distance at which the new points are to be placed along the edge or along the edges of the face you pick. Note that the unit of your input will be the same as your document’s unit and is mentioned above the text box.

Modes: Next, you will have three modes to select from. Pick Edge, Pick Face and Pick Floor.

Face mode and floor mode have an additional option to delete all those toposurface points lying within the boundary of the selected face. However, this option is disabled when you choose the Edge mode.

Start: Click the start button. Select the toposurface first. Once you pick the toposurface, you may keep picking faces/edges/floors until you press the escape key.

Note that in floor mode, the topo will be attached to the bottom face of the selected floor.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
