Circuit Number

Win64, English

Clicker
Manually power and assign an electrical circuit number by entering a numerical value or using a phasing format (e.g., RYB, ABC, or another format).

General Usage Instructions

To access the UI, navigate to Clicker panel and from Electrical Ribbon Panel click on "Circuit Number" and user interface will appear.

First must check this :

  • Ensure the establishment of an Electrical Distribution System that is consistent for both the electrical panel, electrical fixtures and electrical fixtures.
  • Verify that the inputted circuit number adheres to one of the following formats:
  1. Number
  2. Number + (Phase A Label Value or Phase B Label Value or Phase C Label Value) (e.g., 3R, 3Y, 3B, ...)
  3. (Phase A Label Value or Phase B Label Value or Phase C Label Value) + Number (e.g., R2, Y2, B2, ...)
  • Ensure that the phasing format used in your project is consistent. Verify the phasing format by going to the Manage Panel, selecting the MEP Settings from the Ribbon Panel, and then clicking on Electrical Settings. From the list, choose General and check the values for Phase A, Phase B, and Phase C.
  • Make certain that there are no duplicate electrical panels with the same name.
  • Make sure circuit number not exceeded the maximum allowed for single-pole breakers in selected panel.
  • Select the electrical panel from the provided list or from the active view using the button next to the electrical panel list (Combox).
  • Choose the electrical fixtures or lighting fixtures from the active view or use the pick button to select fixtures.
  • Check fixture and panel have same distibution system.

Once all these steps are verified, proceed with the following procedure:

  1. Select the panel.
  2. Choose lighting Fixtures or electrical fixtures.
  3. Input the circuit number.
  4. Click on the power button to execute the operation

Known Issues

Circuit number necessitates read-and-write permissions to the user's local Windows roaming profile and the installation folder.

The application will encounter failure in the absence of read/write access.

The plugin will not function properly if the Electrical Distribution System differs between the electrical panel and electrical fixtures.

If buttons not work (Pick,Power) try to restart Autodesk® Revit®.

Entering circuit numbers in these formats 1, 1R, or R1 will trigger a message, but a circuit will be created at circuit number 1.

If a circuit number is entered, and the panel already has a circuit assigned to that number, the inputted circuit will be assigned to the first available empty circuit.

Attempting to input a circuit number that exceeds the maximum allowed for single-pole breakers in the selected panel will result in the creation of the circuit being unsuccessful.
