1. Install the Mosa Converter with the install file. After installation, you can find the Mosa Converter within the Add-In section of your top ribbon. Open the Mosa Converter and press the link at the top of the screen, this will open the Mosa Pattern Generator in your browser. We advise using Google Chrome for the best result. 
2. Before you can download a Revit pattern package you first need to create a MyMosa account. This is free and allows you to save and access your custom tile surfaces whenever you want, wherever you are. The login can be found in the top right corner in the Mosa Pattern Generator.
3. After creating your own MyMosa account, log in and search for your desired base pattern with the filter options on the left of the screen. 
4. Select the pattern, and it will open the edit mode. If desired you can change or add tiles, and with random patterns play a new randomizer and change the distribution of the several used tiles. 
5. In the top bar, you will find the export and print button which will open a submenu. Press the Revit button to download the pattern .zip file containing all necessary files to run the Mosa Converter.
6. Go to the Mosa Converter and select the pattern .zip file you have downloaded in step 5. If possible, choose whether you want to create a floor or a wall. A glue layer can be added if required and set to the desired thickness. 
7. Press generate pattern system and to create a new system family. At the same time, a texture setup files start which allows you to add and scale the texture and bump file to the right dimensions. In the end, this setup also helps you find your generated tile surface easily. 
8. Finish the setup and start drawing.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this plug-in from the Autodesk App Store has already installed the plug-in. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer by downloading it again from Autodesk App Store, and select the 'Uninstall' button, or you can uninstall it from 'Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features' (Windows 7/8.1/10), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.

- At this moment Revit doesn’t allow us to add and scale the texture and bump file for you. We have added an automated texture setup file to make adding the texture and bump files as easy as possible.
-the Mosa Pattern Generator only allows you to make alterations to patterns made by the Mosa design team. In the future, new design possibilities will be added, so stay tuned. 

- When uploading a new version of an existing pattern you get the question to overwrite or cancel, so it is not possible to generate a system family with the same name and thickness. The workaround is to give the original system family and material a new name (with a version number) and after that add the modified pattern.
