Description
Room Color 3D is an add-in for visualizing room volumes in architectural design.
The Autodesk® Revit® users know that the room spaces and tags are only visible in 2D views such as floor plans and sections. Considering the huge demand for visualizing different spaces of projects in academic and professional areas, the app creates rooms' geometry as generic models in direct shape format and randomly assigns color to generated volumes in a user specified 3D view.
The app is also having the functionality of removing generated volumes in order to bring the file back to its original state.

Good app but it is working only for a single story building. If i use for a floor above or below it shows opaque surface where floor or roof is. My suggestion that it should take colors from color scheme. Thanks.
Thanks for your comment! we suggest for multiple-storey buildings try using section boxes in 3d views. we'are currently working for color scheme adaptation for next version of app.
It's a good app! Useful to easily and quickly see the rooms in 3D. Useful for visualisation and for adjusting volumes of the spaces.
I suggest to add space properties (copy from room) and to add the possibility to group 3D spaces (e.g. some spaces with same color according to a parameter, like in filters). Good job and thanks for sharing the app!
