Tired of all or nothing regular transfer standards? With Transfer Single, you will be able to transfer just one item of most of the standards, an event to multiple files at one time! Also, you will be able to copy additional elements like views, printing setups, section boxes; worksets... even legends with contents!
From version 3.0 you can manage your naming most of the standards of the selected file, by renaming, deleting, find and replace, etc... This ability is limited but will be growing trying to cover all possible elements.
From version 3.1 you can copy Sheet with Views and Views with Annotation Elements.
i would like to ask before buying the app , does it allow me to copy dimensions and tags across projects?
i have a specific situation a central file and we made a copy as detached from it in the office , and now engineers worked on the detached file and created views and annotations , and i want now to bring those views and annotations back to the central file , will your app allow me to this please ?
Hi Tarek. It will transfer sheet, views and annotations elements. But sometimes for some views annotation elements could fail, so thinking about annotation elements I cant say it will work in all scenarios. Send em an email and we can test it for you. juanosborne@gmail.com
Transfers specific information that Revit does not allow you to do in its default Transfer prompt.
The only issue im finding is that theres not consistency when transfering sheets with views, for example, A sheet is transfering elevations in one instance whilst follwing the same process with another sheet it doesnt.
Some view are indicated in red and that probably the cause of this, im not sure what the issue with the view are as the log is very vague.
But all in all, really worth the download and hope the next version offers more!
Hi Robyn, thank you for your positive comment! Red items can't be transferred, they are listed because you can rename or get names and id. Well, dependent views are red but can be recreated but first you must transfer main view, then do the dependent view transfer or sheet transfer with that view. Elevations is a little tricky because are nested in a group of elevations. You must transfer entire group. So transfer elevations inside a sheet is something I must review.
I've relied on this app for years, and it continues to be a must-have. I value the frequent updates and the absence of a subscription. I highly recommend it.

👑💻 #TransferSingleMagic"
Muchas gracias por tu comentario positivo!!!
this addin not showing on the ribon on revit 2023 and revit 2024
It should be there. Must be different problem. Do you have latest net framework installed? email me so we can try to find a solution. juanosborne@gmail.com
We are having the same problem with Revit 2024? Is there any solution yet?
I'm also having the same issue in Revit 2024.
Please be sure there is no other addin blocking the load. Some users report me that this may be the case. Temporary disable all others addins and try to see if TS load correctly.
This should be standard equipment in every modeller's toolbox.. Well worth spending some money on (just like Juan Osborne's other tools)! Earned back within a day with the time it saves.
This tool is essential for managing Revit templates and updating models since it allows you to transfer any element from one model to another/s effectively and saving a lot of time.
Well done Juan!
I have this tool for the last 10 years, and it is the first app I install when I am changin revit Version. Juan, great job. Un abrazo.
Muchas gracias Antonio!!!
Would be nice if you could copy dependent views. If have a project with lot of dependent views and can't copy them to new project.
Would be nice if there was an option to copy Dependent views.
I have a project with lot of Dependent views and need to use them in a different project.
I'm sorry but this not an option in current API. I will try to use an alternative way to make it happen.
Version 4.0 can 'clone' dependent views. Just transfer first main view, then do a second transfer with dependent views.
Looks complicated, but it just work!
Is it possible to also copy views and their content into the same project?
The problem is, when you copy legends with manual color overrides, these are not included even with a detail copy.
I don't know if your plugin can do that.
What might be possible would be to copy the legend with overwriting to another project and from there to copy the legend back to the original model with a new view.
Hi,
Can you transfer the start view from linked modell such A to our modelle?
We are going to write what we change in our modelle in the start view.
It s gone be good if we could to se the start view in our modell from A and the other dicipline.
Can we Copy and paste views along with annotation and sheets from one Revit file to another using this application?
Yes. With the exception of views duplicated as dependent; that cant be transferred. There are some considerations and limitation depending of which type of view, for example for floor plan views you must have a target level at same elevation as source level, etc... If you need to test it before buy drop me an email.
Надстройка классная, но перестала работать. Координаторы предполагают из-за других надстроек в Ревите. Может кто сталкивался с такой проблемой этого приложения?
A must-have for BIM Specialists!
One of those apps that makes Revit SO MUCH easier. I use it multiple times a day, especially when setting up a new project. Keep up the great work man.
The app is designed very well and provides what Revit should provide out of the box.
I still miss the possibility to rename Material Assets and to transfer Extensible Storage. Both are a quite tricky to integrate, but they would be very useful, especially with the new renaming feature.
I reccomend it to all. JuanOsborneTols my first set of Apps to download at any Revit upgrade
А здесь я заплатил почти касарь деревянных и мучаюсь с переносом. фильтры не копируются. шаблоны видов дублируются без спроса. короче приложение работает с ошибками. Листы копируются без видов и тд и тп.
I canot tranfer the callouts
Remon, I just updated it with ability to transfer first level callout. In order to transfer it you must transfer main view (the view where callout are created) and check "Transfer Callout Views" option.
Great app!
Essential app for BIM coordination!
Amazing app, works exactly as intended. It has made the job of setting up standards for all the models of an entire office a lot more manageable.
The only flaw, or lack of feature I'm missing, is to be able to update/overwrite elements when there's a name match. I found myself going back to the vanilla Transfer Project Standards option for stuff like View Templates and Filters, whenever I need to update an already well-associated Template instead of creating a "_1" copy.
The inability to replace elements instead of creating new ones gets really messy when transfering Legends, as any included Detail Item will be duplicated for each individual Legend that includes it.
I'm only mentioning those issues in hopes that they will be addressed in future updates. Even if they're not, the plugin is still a solid 5 star, and well worth the product's price. There's too many situations where it becomes a huge time saver: it lets you transfer elements from categories Revit won't normally give you much control, being able to select single elements within categories, being able to transfer to multiple models at once, etc. etc.
Agreed, overwriting is a much needed feature! I would love to know if this is going to be something that exists in the future!
Yes, I am looking for that feature since days but couldn't find. It would be great it if TransferSingle can provide this option in the future.
Since I know this app exist I'm in love with it. Every revit element can be transferred even views, templates, color schemes... anything you can imagine. Also, unlike revit tool (Transfer project standards), whit this app you can transfer only what you need so it helps to not have a huge amount of unused elements like filters and families and keep the model controled.
It´s possible to include transfer guide grids inside the tool??? I have tried , but it´s not possible. Many thanks to JuanOsborne! :)
I recommend everyone to use this tool! I´m using it everyday !
Of course. I added it... Will be included in future updates. If you need it asap drop me an email. Thanks!
We use this app all the time to trasnfer all kinds of things from project to project.
This is a really useful tool, but I'm missing Line Styles in mine. Needed to transfer to 4 different files :(
It is there... Line Styles are, in fact, a Revit Category. So you will find it under Category -> Generic Annotations Thanks!
We used this App a lot when free but can't justify the maintainence of hundreds of single licenses. Figure out site or Network License and we would reconsider.
Dear Adam, please email me to juanosborne@gmail.com so we can try to find a solution for this...
this is amazing app. Juan Osborne is a genius!
If you are working on several Revit model this will help you to have a parallel project standards on all your revit model.
I am Elec. Eng. that uses Revit on 95% of my projects. This is a must to add to your tool chest. You will pay for this product in one day of time savings.
Don't think, just do it. Move on.
This app is simply amazing. It was free in earlier versions but I'm more than happy to pay $10 to the creator for all the time this app has saved. I primarily use the Transfer Single tool as it's been extremely useful when upgrading older Revit files with more current template standards that only need a few items brought forward.
The Mass Save Families tool is great as well. I've used it the most when analyzing groups of families in larger project environments to quickly see the file sizes and make sure there aren't any oversized families brought in which could slow down the model.
I get what the Mass Load Families does but just don't utilize it much.
Overall, this app is a must-have for any BIM specialist/manager.
